It is the sole responsibility of the Okaloosa County board and the Okaloosa County Commissioners to keep an official record of all transactions in regard to the publics safety, business dealings, property management, all legal proceedings, taxes, county finances, public funds, the county's expenses and all of the expenses for the public school system along with keeping an accurate and on going record of Okaloosa county's annual budget.
